Lambda Legal is pleased to partner with Buddha Dog Productions and Kino Lorber EDU to announce the Seattle screening of the documentary feature, Just Gender, narrated by Tony and Emmy-award winning actress Bebe Neuwirth.

Just Gender explores the breadth of transgender diversity and the experiences of daily life within the transgender community. Directed and produced by Lambda Legal National Leadership Council Member George Zuber of Buddha Dog Productions, the film features Lambda Legal Transgender Rights Project Director M. Dru Levasseur and Director of Community Education and Advocacy Holiday Simmons.

Just Gender puts a human face on the transgender community, and challenges us to question our notions of what it means to be male or female. Informative and straightforward, Just Gender seeks to counteract the ignorance that drives much of the discrimination experienced by the transgender community.

Doors open at 6:30; screening will begin promptly at 6:45. There will be a short “talk-back” discussion after the film.
