Lambda Legal’s annual West Coast Liberty Awards is an evening of tribute to those who have made an impact on the lives of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and those with HIV through advocacy, entertainment, legal and civic contributions.  Each year, we honor outstanding individuals and organizations with our highest honor – the Liberty Award.  Past honorees include retired California Supreme Court Justice Carlos Moreno, now of counsel at Irell & Manella, LLP; former Mayor of Los Angeles Antonio Villaraigosa; former Mayor of San Francisco, Gavin Newsom; Producer Kari Lizer; Actor Justin Bartha; LGBT activist and Superbowl Champion Brendon Ayanbadejo; the Magic Johnson Foundation; and many more.

This year, the West Coast Liberty Awards moves to the heart of Beverly Hills for a gala evening with red carpet, silent auction, gourmet dinner and awards presentation at the historic Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire.  Honorees will be announced in 2014.
