Recently, the federal district court for the District of Columbia issued an important decision in a case about whether Title VII protects lesbian, gay and bisexual workers from discrimination. In an amicus brief, Lambda Legal argued that Title VII covers Peter TerVeer’s claims that he was driven out of his job at the Library of Congress when his boss found out that TerVeer is gay. Baskin v. Bogan

King v. Christie
Lambda Legal’s amicus brief urging the Third Circuit Court of Appeals to uphold the New Jersey law prohibiting so-called “conversion therapy” or “ex-gay therapy” for LGBTQ youth.
East v. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana
Lambda Legal’s federal class action discrimination lawsuit to require three Louisiana health insurance providers to accept federally funded premium subsidies for lower-income people with HIV. A District Court judge granted a temporary restraining order.
